Of course, you can pay a considerable sum to have a new denture made every few months. But that is not at all necessary.

The most effective and least expensive method is different: for 100 per cent precision and a non-slip fit, ‘thermoplastic gel’ has been used for years when fitting dentures in the best dental laboratories — and also in most dental practices.

Heating: the gel is briefly heated to body temperature, making it malleable.

Insertion: place the denture in as usual. The gel moulds perfectly to the jaw.

Setting: the gel cools and hardens — creating 100 per cent suction.
